The E 19 12 is one of four streamlined electric locomotives intended for express service between Munich and Berlin in the early 1940s.  While the display of the prototype in its original wine-red livery that includes the National Socialist German Workers (Nazi) Party's Swastika logo, the artwork on the Marklin model includes subtle modifications that avoid explicit use of the controversial symbol.
